traveling to schools throughout California, Health Mobile has
provided health care to more than 5,000 children a year in 24
counties.
Within
a particular school, Health Mobile serves as a provider of Medi-Cal/Denti-Cal,
Healthy Kids and Healthy Families programs, in addition to treating
as many uninsured children as possible. During our stay at a school,
the demand for services increases each day, as word of our
comprehensive, trustworthy care spreads through the
district.
As a result
of Health Mobile's services , school attendance rates consistently
increase, and parents have a renewed confidence in the schools' care
and support for their children. In addition, the pain and discomfort
of students' untreated medical, dental problems no longer interfere
with regular attendance. Schools, together with efforts of Health
